Janet De Nardis

Janet De Nardis (born 15 February 1978 in Windsor) is a journalist, author, radio and TV presenter, actress, and expert in digital communication. With a degree in architecture, she has worked for RAI, Sky, Class News, and Class CNBC, signing various television programs.

After a successful experience in the world of fashion, she began her career in show business as a singer in the female group Finger Prints, with whom she recorded the single When I Fall in Love in 2000 and sang for the 2002 World Cup in Sendai, Japan. In the same year she made her television debut on Sky and on 21 September 2003 became the face of Rai 2 as the new “Signorina buonasera”, covering the role for seven years. Since then she has presented countless programs, signing many of them. After several years of study with Beatrice Bracco, Michael Margotta, and Francesca De Sapio, she began working in theatre and then on TV in successful series such as “I Cesaroni” and “Don Matteo”.

In 2011 she presented the European Parliament News for Class News and Class CNBC and collaborated with many newspapers including Mondo Bancario Magazine and tvzap of Repubblica.it.

This is when she became interested in web series and web-native products, curating conferences and reports on the subject.  He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Letters of La Sapienza University for the Course in “Web series and multimedia products” and the Master in “Fashion film”. She collaborates with the Master in “Digital Communication” at Link University. she is responsible for the section dedicated to “Film Makers” at CNA.

Her most recent television commitments have seen her present the Special on Art Deco on Sky Arte and the second season of Look Maker Academy on Sky One. She currently hosts the radio programs “Incidentalis Arte” and “Arte a 360 gradi” on RID 96.8.

Since 2012 she has been Artistic Director and creator of the Roma Web Fest and now Director of the Digital Media Fest. She is the founder of an important “creative hub” with which she operates in the corporate creativity sector, developing communication campaigns and managing social networks for important brands.
