Csongor Dobrotka is director, producer, screenwriter and founder & director of the Digital Series Festival “die Seriale” in Giessen, Germany. He studied “Drama, Theatre, Media” at JLU Giessen and since 2009 he works also at the „Hessen Film and Media Academy“ (hFMA), a network of the 13 film & media universities in Hessen. Since 2011 he is CEO of the production company Dobago Film, which is in the meantime focused on digital series. He is director and co-creator of the award winning web series “Number of Silence”.

Leandro Silva is the founder of Rio Webfest, the biggest digital series festival of the southern hemisphere, and producer of São Paulo Webfest. He is also a History teacher and a Radio/TV graduate by the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. His short format 85 episodes comedy series Oposto do Sexo (The Opposite of Sex) accumulated millions of views on Youtube and was sold three times to France and Korea for SVOD plataforms. He is also the technical supervisor of Canal Curta!, a brazilian cable-tv specialized in documentaries

Based in Berlin, Germany, Meredith Burkholder began her career in New York City as a freelance producer for commercial photography and television. A graduate of Boston University, she worked in nearly every major market across the United States for 10 years. She has worked alongside industry leading advertising agencies,
production companies, and photographers on international campaigns for clients including American Express, Johnson & Johnson, Wal-Mart, Nestle, and Exxon Mobil – her television credits include projects for Lifetime, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, and the Food Network. In 2011, she founded the marketing and production company, Et Tu Tableau, GbR. In 2015, she founded the first international digital series festival in Germany – Webfest Berlin. And in 2018, she founded her solo venture, Ensoki Productions, GmbH. She is also the co-author of Short, Narrative and Serialized: A Complete Guide to the Web Series Phenomenon

Otessa Marie Ghadar is a digital storyteller who uses writing, filmmaking, photography, and technology to share her narratives and build communities. As one of the web series medium’s earliest adopters, Otessa is a true forerunner of digital media. Starting in 2006, Otessa’s web series “Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden” is now the longest continually running show online, with an international audience in over 145 countries. Otessa founded the DC Web Fest (one of the first of its kind & now in its 7th year) out of the need for digital content creators to showcase their works, inspiring creativity and innovation. As an Adjunct Professor at A.U., and through additional guest lecturing, Otessa uses her passions to guide the next generation of digital storytellers. Stemming from her knowledge and expertise, she published the world’s first new media textbook called “The Wild West of Film.”In addition to speaking, she also enjoys exhibiting her work, having shown work as part of FotoWeek DC, Transformer Gallery, The National Museum for Women in the Arts, amongst others.A newly initiated Google Next Generation Policy leader, Otessa works diligently to increase technology awareness and innovation among minority and marginalized communities. She resides in Washington DC, and is currently planning for the 8th Annual DC Web Fest along with working on her newest project — the Conversations with Hysterical Womxn Podcast. She Completed her Graduate Film Studies at Columbia University’s film school in NYC.
